ABOUT
The Christian Camp of Playa Azul (CCPA) hosts mission trips, camps, and retreats while supporting local churches, impacting communities, providing jobs for locals, and advancing the glorious Gospel of Christ in Costa Rica through supporting the planting and multiplication of Christ-centered churches.
MISSIONS IS NOT THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF THE CHURCH. WORSHIP IS. MISSIONS EXIST BECAUSE WORSHIP DOESN’T.

We strive to make Christ known while being His hands and feet through the leadership and help of local churches so that we can impact communities in a more wise and efficient way.
So, when you visit CCPA you become a part of advancing the Gospel in Costa Rica by helping us support the strengthening of Christ-centered churches so that they can eventually plant more and more churches.
That is how we intend to help accomplish the great commission here.

The members of the church and employees of the camp made us feel at home and so loved. The love of Christ shined through everything they did. Being there, working, eating, and worshiping together, we’re like glimpses of heaven. It was so amazing to see how God had blessed the camp, church, and community. I feel so unbelievably blessed to be a small part of what God is doing in Costa Rica.

I was so lucky to spend a week with these wonderful people, experiencing the partnership we have in Sovereign Grace and the fellowship of those united in Christ as brothers and sisters. Partnership feels too businesslike when speaking about it, because these people feel like family, even after just the shortest amount of time in their presence! Indeed, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!!

I’m so grateful for the many friendships that my team and I built while in Playa Azul. At the airport on the way home the question that I kept hearing was, “So when are we going back?” I love that! Our hearts our filled with gratefulness for what God is doing in Playa Azul, and they remain behind as our prayers continue for this church.
